MBEI Grenada has an activity coordinator that plans an exciting activity schedule for you each term. By interacting with other students and joining activities, you will make your time at our school much more memorable and enriching experience. This is a great opportunity to practice and improve your English while you’re exploring the adventures of Grenada and soaking up the island sun.
As part of your spice island experience, MBEI Grenada has regular activities that include small craft sailing, ocean kayaking, beautiful waterfall hikes, barbecue cook outs, beach snorkeling trips, chocolate and rum factory visits, the cricket museum and old colonial forts. While here on the island take time to experience world class scuba diving.
Engage in English conversation with locals while at bars and nightclubs dancing to the local steel bands. On this safe friendly island there is something for everyone and making your stay here as memorable as possible is our goal.
Whale and Dolphin Tours
Whale and Dolphin Tours are a thrilling water adventure that showcases the beloved creatures of the deep blue sea. Come see and be entertained by the majestic mammals of the ocean, while having a fun time aboard a catamaran with food, drinks and music. Bike Rentals and Tours
Mocha Spoke’s offers Grenada’s best brewed coffees, espresso and other cool beverages. Along with the coffee shop they rent bicycles and offer guided bike tours to some of Grenada’s best tourist attractions. Take a ride to Annandale Falls or to the Volcanic Grand Etang Lake. Mocha Spoke will cater to your needs.
Snorkel Sculpture Park
This Snorkeling Trip will carry passengers via boat to the marine park site which is a protected marine area in Molinere Grenada. This site was created to help preserve and regenerate coral and reef life in the most artistic way possible. Dive into the beautiful Caribbean Sea and explore the beauties of the deep.
Waterfall and Safari Adventures
Grenada boasts several waterfalls engulfed with lush green vegetation and natural pools and ponds that accepts the tumbling water. Swimming in the waterfall gives you that exotic island feel only a small island Caribbean destination like Grenada can provide.
Grenada Carnival (Every August)
Grenada’s Carnival referred to as ‘Spicemas’ is a Grenadian event climaxing during the second Monday and Tuesday in August. In this festive season, Calypsonians, Steel pan, Beauty contestants, Orchestras, ‘Fancy mas’ bands and others perform and parade to compete for carnival honors. It is an expression of color, humor and fun!
The hiking trails are for all nature lovers and water lovers. It allows you to trek through the forest on an adventure like you have never had. The cool rain forest makes the hike pleasurable while giving you a workout. Some trails follow the shoreline of our lakes, while others are rugged and untamed. Whichever you prefer, the trails introduce you to the diverse world of the island’s flora and fauna.
