Grenada is accessible from major international cities including Miami, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, London, Frankfurt, Caracas, and the Caribbean. International flights stop at Maurice Bishop International Airport, and visitors wishing to continue on to the sister isle of Carriacou has a short trip by inter-island charter to Lauriston Airport. Cruise ships serving our islands depart from Florida and Puerto Rico.
Grenada’s New Jet Centre Facility
Visitors to the island now have the option of utilizing our new jet facility at the Maurice Bishop International Airport. A valid passport and return ticket is required for all visitors. A proof of citizenship bearing a photograph is acceptable from British, Canadian and American citizens. Please note that as mandated by the United States Department of Homeland Security, all travellers from the USA must provide a passport to enter or re-enter the USA on vacation or business travel. A visa is not required from citizens of the USA, Canada, UK and most European countries, British Commonwealth, most Caribbean countries, South Korea and Japan.
Traveling to Grenada by Air
From Germany, Condor Airlines offer seasonal flights from Frankfurt Airport, which recommence from the 5th November 2015 and end on the 7th April 2016.
American Airlines offers a direct daily service between Miami FL, USA and Grenada.
Delta Airlines will provide non-stop flights four times per week from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Grenada from the 19th December 2015 to the 3rd January 2016. Their weekly Saturday service will resume on the 9th January 2016. Delta Airlines also offers a seasonal service from Atlanta GA, USA, which will resume on the 19th December 2015 until the 4th January 2016.
jetBlue offers a thrice weekly service to Grenada from New York’s John F. Kennedy International on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
In addition, Caribbean Airlines twice-daily service between Grenada and Trinidad, facilitates one-stop connections between Toronto, New York, Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, London, and regional airports.
From Canada, Air Canada operates a weekly service from Toronto, which resumes on the 26th October 2015. Additional seasonal flights will be added on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Air Canada also has year round daily flights from Toronto to Barbados on Saturday and Sunday with connections on LIAT to Grenada.
In addition, West Jet operates a flight from Toronto to Barbados with connections on LIAT to Grenada year round. Special chartered flights will are also available with GG Tours on Sunwing upon release. Caribbean Airlines also operates a once weekly nonstop service from Toronto to Grenada.
From the Caribbean, LIAT Airlines provides connections into Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport from many Caribbean islands along with connections to International flights from Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia and Trinidad. Caribbean Airlines also provides flights from Grenada to other islands in the region.
From Venezuela: Conviasa Airlines will commence a one-weekly flight from Caracas, Venezuela on the 3rd October 2015.
